About Sandra: I am a proud First-Gen professional who was born and raised in the Bay! My undergrad journey started at Chabot Community College before I transferred to San Jose State where I earned a B.A in Sociology and a M.A in Education & Counseling. I am also a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants who have taught me to dream big and the value of giving back to our community. I truly enjoy supporting and guiding students who are working towards achieving their academic/career goals. I approach all of my counseling sessions with the intention of getting to know each student on a personal level to successfully offer holistic guidance and support that meet the individual needs of each student.
