What are your career goals?

My goal is to find a balance between my two passions of Cognitive Science and Education. Ultimately, I want to be apart of a space that I am constantly growing and being challenged/impactful.

What are some of your hobbies?

I love playing/watching basketball, hiking, taking time to self reflect and spending time with youth

Why are you a EOP STEM Coordinator?

Cal is a huge campus and it is very easy to feel small. Especially in STEM classes. There is a sense of discomfort students who are first generation, low income and/or undocumented experience in classrooms and I want to be able to support others through the discomfort. I want to be able to see students know that support is there when needed and their success matters to us.

A little bit about yourself:

I was raised by Chinese immigrant parents who has always taught me to care. Simply care with love and they taught me and my older brother by gestures and not words which inspires me to find my "why" everyday.

Interesting Fact:

I have hiked in Wyoming's wilderness for 31 days!
